About Me
By Hadar / February 2, 2025 / No Comments

My name is Hadar, and I am an educator, artist, and creator with a passion for spreading the Hebrew language and encouraging creativity through crafts and puppetry.
I was born and raised in Israel, where being Jewish was simply part of everyday life. When I moved to Sweden, I quickly realized how different it is to be Jewish outside of a Jewish country. The sense of community becomes something you actively seek, something you build rather than something that just exists around you. Being part of the Jewish community here has given me a feeling of home, and it has also deepened my understanding of how important it is to strengthen our Jewish identity, both for ourselves and for the next generation.
For me, Judaism is not only about religion but also about culture, creativity, and the beauty of the Hebrew language. That’s why I dedicate my work to two things: Hebrew and crafts.
Hebrew
I offer online Hebrew lessons for adults, helping learners connect with the language in a meaningful and engaging way. Through fun conversation-based lessons, I guide students in improving their skills while also deepening their connection to Jewish life.
Where Hebrew meets Crafts
Creativity is a powerful way to connect with culture, and my Hebrew&Crafts workshops for children offer just that. From making needle-felted Rosh Hashanah fruits to building miniature Sukkahs, every activity is designed to be both engaging and meaningful. Through these projects, children not only develop artistic skills but also absorb Hebrew words and Jewish traditions in a fun and natural way.
For those who want to bring creativity into their home, I also offer craft kits for both children and adults with everything needed to complete a project, including full instructions with some simple Hebrew vocabulary to enrich the experience.
Puppetry
Stories and characters have always been at the heart of learning and self-expression. The Puppet creative world is something I have always been passionate about. I create puppet shows and interactive activities for all ages, blending storytelling, humor, jewish culture, and language learning into an engaging experience. Whether it’s a puppet performance at a community event, a puppet-making workshop, or a playful learning session, puppetry is a unique way to spark imagination and bring people together.
Through my work, I hope to help others strengthen their connection to Hebrew, Creativity and Jewish culture. Whether you are learning Hebrew, exploring crafts, or enjoying a puppet show, I look forward to sharing this journey with you.
